Hi, I’m David, an engineer, maker, and educator passionate about solving real-world challenges through creativity and craftsmanship. With a degree in Environmental Engineering from Brown University and years of hands-on experience in design and problem-solving, I’m driven to apply my skills to projects that make a tangible impact, especially in the environmental sector.
In my professional role as Manager of the Maker Hub at Georgetown University and an Adjunct Professor, I’ve built a vibrant community where students and staff collaborate, innovate, and bring their ideas to life. I’ve designed and led workshops on a myriad of topics from additive manufacturing, laser cutting, and CNC machining to traditional woodworking, print making, and bookbinding, and I’ve developed training programs that foster both technical skills and inclusivity.
Outside of work, I dive into projects that combine my engineering expertise and creative curiosity. This website is a showcase of my favorite projects, each one stepping stone on my path to become a more skilled creative and creative engineer. So whether I'm prototyping sustainable solutions, crafting one-of-a-kind designs, or leading collaborative projects, I’m always seeking ways to connect creativity with impact.
